Prof. B. S. Murty is a distinguished Metallurgical Engineer and the current Director of IIT Hyderabad. His academic journey began with a diploma in Vijayawada, followed by a BE from VNIT Nagpur and an ME and PhD from IISc Bengaluru. Over three decades, he has held pivotal roles at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Madras, while also providing leadership to several IIITs and NITs. Internationally acclaimed, his research focuses on Nanomaterials, High Entropy Alloys, and bulk metallic glasses. He established India's first National Facility for Atom Probe Tomography and the Centre for In-situ & Correlative Microscopy.
A prolific scholar, he has authored over 550 publications and guided more than 50 PhD students, earning an h-index of 82. His accolades include the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award, the National Metallurgist Award, and the JC Bose Fellowship. Beyond research, he serves as the President of the Indian Institute of Metals and a member of the National Security Advisory Board. Prof. Sri Niwas Singh is a distinguished academic leader and researcher, currently serving as the Director of ABV-IIITM Gwalior. He earned his M. Tech and PhD in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, where he later served as a Professor (HAG). His extensive career includes roles at the UP State Electricity Board, IIT Roorkee, and the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Prof. Singh also served as the Vice-Chancellor of MMMUT Gorakhpur from 2017 to 2020.His research expertise spans Power Systems, Smart Grids, and AI applications in energy markets. A prolific scholar, he has published over 500 papers and supervised 40 PhD students, maintaining an h-index of 57. He is the first Asian to receive the IEEE Educational Activity Board Meritorious Achievement Award (2013). Prof. Singh has also authored two influential textbooks and multiple book chapters on power generation and distribution.
Beyond research, he has held significant leadership roles within IEEE, including serving as the Immediate Past Chairman of the IEEE India Council. His honors include the INAE Young Engineer Award, the Humboldt Fellowship, and the INAE Outstanding Teacher Award. Prof. Bhartendu K. Singh is a distinguished Professor of Physics and the current Director of PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, having assumed the role in 2023. He holds a Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), where he also served as a Professor for over a decade. His research expertise lies in Experimental High Energy Physics, specifically focusing on Particle and Nuclear Physics, Heavy-Ion Collisions, and Instrumentation.
Professor Singh’s academic career is marked by significant international experience, including roles as a Research Scientist at Columbia University and post-doctoral fellowships in Italy and Israel. A prolific researcher, he has contributed to over 500 publications with more than 20,000 citations. Prof. Mukul Sutaone is the Director of IIIT Allahabad and formerly served as the first Vice Chancellor of COEP Technological University, Pune. With over 30 years of experience at COEP, he has held numerous leadership roles, including Deputy Director and Dean Academics. His research expertise focuses on Statistical Signal Processing and Wireless Networks, where he has led World Bank-funded projects to develop technologies like automated PCB inspection and video stabilization.

Prof. M. V. Kartikeyan is the Director of IIITDM Kancheepuram, having assumed office in October 2022. An alumnus of IIT (BHU), he holds a PhD in Microwave Engineering and has a distinguished academic career, including nearly two decades as a professor at IIT Roorkee. Internationally recognized, he served as a researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, and is a recipient of the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship.
His research expertise encompasses High Power Millimeter Wave sources, Terahertz technology, and Metamaterials, with over 350 published papers and five books to his credit. A Fellow of IEEE, INAE, and IET, he has also held significant leadership roles at IIT Roorkee, including Head of the Departments of both ECE and CSE.
